Tony Wilson
After graduating from the University of Nottingham with a first class degree in Physics, Tony held a range of teaching and management roles in the 11-18 school sector. He was involved in a number of influential national projects with the Institute of Physics and was invited to be a Fellow in 2004. Tony, through promotion into a senior management position, developed whole school strategies and delivered CPD to encourage independent and personalised learning. Joining Balfour Beatty Capital in January 2005, Tony successfully led the bid for the £250m Knowsley BSF project from PQQ to Financial Close using all his educational experience to align bid proposals with the Council's aspirations. This enabled him to inspire the design and educational teams to deliver innovative concepts that will serve the communities of Knowsley well into the future. During his time at Balfour Beatty Capital Tony was responsible for educational research, forging links with innovative learning organisations across the world and keeping abreast of emerging pedagogies and the designs and technologies that support them. Visiting places of learning in Europe, Asia and Australia enabled him to develop a keen sense of key design criteria that promote the effective delivery of learning. Tony was promoted to the post of Bid Director within Balfour Beatty Capital and took on a full range of responsibilities including liaison with the wider construction, facilities management, commercial and legal teams. Tony carried out risk management duties and liaised with funders' diligence teams. As a 4Thought consultant Tony is keen to use his analytical and problem-solving skills to assist the creation of well developed and clearly presented ideas. He combines this with his facility to connect with others in order to develop honest and open relationships in which mutual understanding of shared goals is quickly established. Tony has recently advised both public and private sectors on the following projects; Derbyshire BSF, Rochdale BSF, Wigan BSF, Birmingham BSF, Cambridgeshire BSF
Lisa Dalziel Lisa graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Law in 1992. Since then Lisa has worked throughout the UK in the Lloyds Banking Group. Her roles have been predominantly within Business and Corporate Banking. Lisa has spent much her professional career supporting businesses and corporations through change in order to maximise their effectiveness and profitability. Lisa brings this change management and organisational development experience to 4Thought Consulting.
